Auto-Turn was originally formed in 1983 by Ronnie McMurray and Dwain
Keel with just a couple of machines and determination. In the late
1990's Auto-Turn first qualified for the ISO 2000:9001 certification
and this certification has been maintained since that date.

Pictured from left to right are Dwain Keel, Sharon & Ronnie
McMurray and Gary Shotton. In May of 2006, Gary Shotton purchased
100% of the Auto-Turn stock and increased the building size from
15,000 sq. ft. to 25,000 sq. ft. Several new machines have been
purchased since 2006 along with a new network of computers for the
office.
A central focus of Auto-Turn is efficiency. To gain
the necessary efficiency, a network of new computers were installed
in the office and we began the process of converting with office to
a paperless environment. The purchase and installation of E2/Shop
Tech software is being used to maintain real-time control such
things as warehouse inventory, documenting the consistent
calibration of measuring instruments, payroll, machine routers, cost
estimates, and much more.
In
the fall of 2008, a CMM arm was purchased to bring the quality
department into a new arena of quality. Pictured left is the owner,
Gary Shotton, and his wife of more than 35 years. Even though Gary
has the most responsibility for Auto-Turn, it is definitely at
combined effort.
Gary and Cindy also continue their Christian
missions efforts by traveling several times per year to
under-developed nations on Business Mission Trips. Gary is the
Founder and President of Global Business Success Foundation, which
is focused on mobilizing Christian businesspeople to use their
business skills to mentor businesspeople in under-developed nations.
